In today’s fast-paced business environment, effective strategy planning is more crucial than ever.
I often use sticky notes when leading strategy planning and brainstorming sessions, and surprisingly, many still ask me why I ‘waste my time’ using sticky notes when the discussion can be done verbally and by note-taking, and later sharing notes.
The answer?
Their simplicity and effectiveness are, in my opinion, second to none, even if some consider it the “old way” of doing things.
But here’s the remarkable aspect: Whether I use them on a whiteboard, wall, or desk, the feedback I receive after employing sticky notes is consistently positive and reflects their tangible impact on strategy planning outcomes.
So I thought of sharing with you the reasons why I like using sticky notes and two personal real-life examples to encourage you to use them more often.
Hope you find this interesting!
